It is not recommended to change keywords, but filters and exclutions does never effect the data. Removing or changing keywords resets that specific keyword.

To view the project start at the startpage and find your project under “My Projects” or the project group that the project belongs to.

Keywords

The single most important input for Silverbakk Briefing Room is the keywords for each project. Each keyword is a cornerstone in each project so choose wisely. Keywords can be shown on their own or in combination with any or all of the other keywords. It is also just a click away to compare the different keywords in a comparison-graph.

Upper case – Lower case

  • Only lower case in keywords will return all results
  • At least one upper case character in a keyword, will return the exact match

Filters

Some keywords might be very general. Then filters become very handy. Each keyword can be filtered with one or many filters. It is very easy to enter the filters if you are the project administrator. Filters do not affect any data and can therefor be manipulated as much as needed.

Exclusions

The ability to exclude sources from the project will always be needed. It is very easy with Silverbakk Briefing Room. Hit the block source button in the action area of the source you want to exclude. Another way to use exclusions is if you want to exclude certain words or phrases. Use the exclusion field in the keyword administration to accomplish the exclusion of words or phrases. It is used on a per keyword basis.

All exclusions are on a project (block source) or keyword (exclusion in project administration) basis. It will not affect any other keyword or project.
